He has wide ranging experience in commercial development deals, inward investment transactions, PFI/PPP, and infrastructure projects. He has advised clients on major developments such as the Royal Bank of Scotland World Headquarters at Gogarburn, Edinburgh, and has acted for the contractors on the only waste management PFIs to have been completed in Scotland.

He has acted for significant inward investors to Scotland within the industrial, electronics, media and services sectors. He has dealt with the Scottish aspects of privatisation work in the transport, defence and energy sectors.
