Biggart Baillie announces eight promotions

Scottish law firm Biggart Baillie has announced three new partners and five associates due to internal promotions.

In the firm’s corporate department, David Gilchrist and Damien Bechelli become partners. They will continue to focus on corporate finance and corporate transactions and will look to further expand the firm’s corporate presence in Glasgow.

In the property department, Chris McLeish also becomes a partner. He will continue to build the UK property finance and investment practice.

Promotions to associate are Joanna Hamilton in property, Jonathan Rennie in the employment team, Euan McSherry in dispute management, Mairi Black in the pensions team and Louise Gibson in infrastructure, environment and transport.
