Biggart Baillie announces raft of internal promotions
Biggart Baillie LLP has announced the internal promotions of three partners and five associates.
In the firm’s corporate department, David Gilchrist and Damien Bechelli have been promoted to partner. Mr Gilchrist has been with Biggart Baillie since joining as a trainee in 2000 and has particular experience in the energy sector. Likewise, Mr Bechelli joined as a trainee in 2001, with a focus on corporate finance and corporate recovery work.
In the property department, Chris McLeish is also promoted to partner. His nine years at the firm have concentrated on commercial property transactions, with particular emphasis on investment and asset management.
Promotions to associate include Joanna Hamilton in the property department, Jonathan Rennie in the employment team, Euan McSherry in the dispute management department, Mairi Black in the pensions team and Louise Gibson in the infrastructure, environment and transport department.
