McGrigors partner wins Insider award

Euan McVicar, an energy and infrastructure partner at McGrogors, has been named Legal Adviser of the Year at the Scottish Business Insider 2010 Deals and Dealmakers awards.

Mr McVicar beat off strong competition to win the award, including from fellow McGrigors partner Rosalie Chadwick who was highly commended. Judges cited his role in a number of energy transactions, including several renewables projects and two groundbreaking carbon capture and storage projects.

Richard Masters, managing partner at McGrigors, said: "I am thrilled for Euan and Rosalie following their success in these awards and am also pleased to see that, despite challenging market conditions, we continue to be involved in what are independently recognised as some of the most groundbreaking transactions."
