2013 Scottish Legal Awards launched

Four new categories are among the 17 available for the 2013 Scottish Legal Awards, now open for nominations.
Corporate Restructuring Team of the Year; Fundraising Firm of the Year; Trainee Firm of the Year; and In-house Legal Team of the Year have been added as the awards mark their 10th year.
Joy Glass, partner of Scott + Co, headline sponsors for the awards, commented: “As a judge and a sponsor, I’m always impressed by the diversity of Scottish law – the range of solutions to client problems and the constant search for better client service.
“It is also the people who emerge as winners in these awards who deserve every credit we can give them. Their talent and determination bring the Scottish legal profession to life and we should always find the time to reward and recognise the hard work at the heart of the profession.”
The deadline for entries is 30 November 2012. Finalists will be announced on 7 January 2013 and the winners revealed at a gala dinner on Thursday 28 March in the Edinburgh International Conference Centre.
