Corporate partner appointment at Morisons
10 October 2012
Morisons solicitors has announced the appointment of a new corporate partner, Andrew Sloane.
Mr Sloane joins from Scottish Investment Bank, where he worked for over five years before deciding to return to private practice. He was previously with the corporate team at McGrigors.
He will work from Morisons' Glasgow office, with companies and investors across Scotland and beyond.
"It was always my intention to return to an advisory role at some stage", Mr Sloane said. "I chose Morisons for many reasons, not least because they are a progressive firm with ambitious future plans which I can play a major part in."
Peter Duff, Morisons' managing partner, added: "Andrew will provide great depth and weight to our commercial team, especially at a time when access to funding is a significant issue for many businesses."
"Increasingly, our relationships with clients are not just focused on legal matters but rather they seek advice on all sorts of business related issues and to have Andrew on board will further enhance the range of services we can offer our clients."
