Associate appointments at Harper Macleod

Harper Macleod has expanded its Inverness office with the appointment of two new associates.

Calum MacLeod, a native Gaelic speaker originally from Sleat, has joined the Energy & Natural Resources Sector Group, utilising his considerable experience in this sector to work with developers, landowners and community groups on a number of renewable energy projects. Initially he will be working two days each week with Community Energy Scotland, a national charity based in the Highlands, which is dedicated to supporting communities to develop and lead their own renewable energy projects. He joins from R & R Urquhart and has previously worked in the central belt.

Jill Fryer, a native of Inverness who joins the public sector team, has extensive experience in a wide range of areas, including contracts, public procurement, state aid, competition law and freedom of information. She will also have a more general commercial contracts role.
