Two partner hires for Brodies
29 October 2012
Law firm Brodies has announced the hire of two new partners.
Commercial property specialist Tracey Menzies MBE joins the Aberdeen office, while pensions specialist Alison Shackleton joins the firm's Glasgow base.
Ms Menzies, who specialises in commercial and residential land acquisition and development work, with particular focus on office development construction and funding, was formerly with Pinsent Masons' Aberdeen office.
Her MBE comes from her services to hockey: she was capped for Scotland 153 times and in 2002 captained the national team at the World Cup in the Netherlands and the Commonwealth Games in Manchester.
Ms Shackleton, who joins from Burness, has expertise in advising global and domestic businesses on complex pension scheme matters, and advising lay and professional independent trustees on pensions law.
