Two new partners among a total of five promotions of women have been announced by law firm Balfour + Manson.
Specialist litigators Ann Logan and Julie Clark-Spence are the new partners. Ms Clark-Spence will head the firm's Aberdeen office, which marks its 10th anniversary this year and is currently seeking additional personal injury, employment and family lawyers.
Also advanced are Louise Duffy, who becomes a senior associate in the litigation team, and Sarah Shiels and Irene Turner, who move up to associate in employment and property respectively.
Elaine Motion, chairman of Balfour + Manson, commented: "I am personally delighted to see such talented people being promoted; they have all worked exceptionally hard over the years and are a key part of the firm’s success going forward and deserve this recognition."
The firm now has six female partners out of a total of 18 in its offices in Edinburgh and Aberdeen.
